The week before Christmas Santa discovers that his reindeer are all sick with polar flu and will not recover in time to pull the sleigh on Christmas Eve. He sends out his elves to find another team to help deliver the presents.
Each day an elf returns with a different type of animal to pull the sleigh. Some of the animals are often used to pull carts or sleighs. Other animals are less suitable.
Santa’s Dragon is an original story for young children, with bright and colourful pictures published for the first time in November 2015.
Xander Ross is a pen name for a pair of great grandparents who live on the west coast of Ireland. Santa’s Dragon is their first children’s picture book.
