Our Military Family

Many families miss loved ones when they are away serving in the military. Sometimes the service men and women are away from moms, dads, brothers, and sisters. In this story Dad and the kids, Harmony and Dominic, are home missing mom. Mom is in the United States Army, and during her deployment, she is sometimes gone for up to 12 months. Throughout the book, you experience what the family has to do to cope without mom, all the while missing her. I hope this book is a testament to those families who make many sacrifices at home and abroad so that we can enjoy the freedoms that we have.

Suzan Johnson has been the Media Specialist at an elementary school for over ten years. She is a voracious reader of books of all genres. Growing up, she loved and enjoyed participating in sporting activities such as cheerleading and softball. About the Author

Michele is a mother of two young children, an attorney and a writer.  She began writing creatively again as an adult after the tragic loss of her father in 2001.  This loss coupled with the joys and craziness of being a mother has allowed her to tap into a wonderful well of inspiration. Her picture book entitled "The Gorilla Picked Me!" was released Spring 2018 with Native Ink Press. Her picture book entitled "Cookie & Milk" is slated to release in 2019 with Cardinal Rule Press and is listed as a top shelf title with IPG. About Patricia May

Patricia May became an author in 2015 after creating the Ten Story Collection, Seashell Meditations for Children. It was shortly after that, Under the Sea, a coloring/activity books was published. Writing books that inspire a kid's imagination is her passion. Helping kids to discover that spark within, is the goal. Books that Inspire a Kid's Imagination is the theme of all Patricia's books.
