3 Free Picture Books for Kids

Are you looking for some new reads for your young ones? Amazon often has several free picture books for kids available for free for a limited time. Some of these books are consistently offered for free from the authors. Others stay free just for a day or a little longer to give you a sampling as to what the author has to offer. Here are some of my finds for today. As of the time of this posting, they are all free. However, prices can change with little to no warning. Always check the "Buy" price and not the "Prime" price before purchasing for your Kindle.
Don't have a Kindle? No worries! You can download a free Kindle reading app for your tablet, smartphone or computer. Or, you can give in and purchase that Kindle Fire that maximizes the picture e-book reading experience.

Mrs. Gorski, I Think I Have the Wiggle Fidgets (The Adventures of Everyday Geniuses)
This book is part of a series that features children who are struggling in school for a variety of reasons. In this book, David simply has difficulty sitting still. His teacher works with him as he tries to learn some self-control. These books are recommended by parents who have children with ADHD. This one has won a Parents' Choice Award.

 Chloe the Dancing Cow
Matt Ballard loves to create fun picture books for kids to read about children just like them. In this one, the main character is a cow who loves to dance. Chloe has wanted to learn how to dance her entire life. She watches dancing on TV. She regularly goes to the ballet. She practices standing on her tippy toes. And then one day, she gets a flyer about a dancing school opening up in her town. She is so excited that she has to go visit.

Christopher Columbus With Son, Diego: The First Voyage
Take a comical look at the history of Spain and Europe during the Middle Ages while also learning about Christopher Columbus and his son, Diego. This book is designed for children of all ages and may even appeal to some adults. Full color pictures help to tell the tale.

While I have not yet had a chance to review all of these titles, I did go ahead and download them as long as they were free. After all, it never hurts to check them out, right? I will review them at a later date and let you know if they are worth money, as well. In the meantime, check them out for free and let me know what you think about them.

Happy reading!
