Part of enjoying children's literature is sharing the stories with someone you love. Reading out loud to children can be a tremendously fun experience, especially if you do it right.
I have been acting out stories and getting animated with children's stories as long as I have been working with kids. It is an art that one improves upon every time one reads, and it is simple enough that anyone can do it.
Here is my guide to reading out loud to children:

About Me
I am officially a Montessori Directress, teaching ages 3-6. But I actually work with children of all ages. And I think of myself as a perma-child.
I am also an avid reader, both of adults' books and kids' books. And I lump young adult books in with kids' books.
In this blog, my goal is to review and bring attention to the best literature that is available to young people today, as well as possible activities and links that accompany each title. And I hope you share some of your favorites with me, too!
